Email - Getting your email software ready to work with your account.

I am trying to set up my email software (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) to work with my LinkSky account. Can you help?

All email programs will have these basic settings that you should establish:

1 -- Email host address (for both receiving and sending).
2 -- User ID or account name.
3 -- Mailbox password.

Please see your original account startup "welcome" email messages for the specific settings.

OR -- acccess your cpanel. In the Mail section, click on Email accounts. Find the mailbox in your list of accounts. To the right in the Functions section, click on Configure Mail Client and follow the instructions.

LinkSky servers require authentication, so make sure to check for incoming mail before you send, or select the option "My server requires authentication."

IMPORTANT: Be sure to use the following version of your user ID as a log-in for your email software or for webmail: userID+domain.com. For example: If your main account user is superdad, and your domain name is powertools.com then the email log-in ID would be superdad+powertools.com
