How do I secure (encrypt) my shopping cart check-out page?
It is recommend that you purchase your own SSL certificate for this. The shared server certificate will work only for the simpler pages such as contact fill-out forms.
We highly recommend the Starfield certificate that you can purchase at LinkSkyDomains.com for a very reasonable fee.
The encryption is the strongest allowable and most importantly, the certificate will be in YOUR name, or your company's name. This is important because more and more on-line shoppers these days are clicking the lock icon to see who owns the certificate. If it belongs to some other company that they have never heard of, then it is likely they will pull out of the sale. Thus the certificate annual fee is likely to pay for itself over and over again.
